Pennsylvania is not meeting the needs of many of its transportation challenges, and Route 422 is a prime example of a highway that has not received the maintenance and upgrades it warrants.

Now, there is a proposal to toll Route 422 and charge local commuters double for road improvements – they already pay for transportation funding through the gas taxes they pay. 

I have joined with my colleagues along the Route 422 corridor to host a forum for the public to discuss the tolling plan and how we can work together to find a better solution.
